This is such a versatile and unique color! Not quite purple, not quite pink, Ultramarine Red is great for mixes and for layering. This hue mixes with other colors in surprisingly versatile ways.

A small magnet can be added to the pan or cap, at no cost, to allow it to stick to any metal tin, if the artist prefers. Bottle caps are equivalent in amount of paint to a generous full pan.
The item I received labeled as ultramarine red definitely can produce what I call a very lovely pale pink, great for painting flowers like cherry blossoms, tulips, roses, and also pale pinks sometimes seen in colorful sun rises and sets. I love it.
