Details
Susan B Anthony is well-known for being a social reformer and women's rights activist and played a major role in the women's suffrage movement. In 1872, she was arrested for voting in an election when voting as a woman was illegal. Although she was convicted, she did not pay her fine and the authorities did not follow up on it. In 1878, she worked with Senator Aaron A. Sargent to present Congress with an amendment to the Constitution granting women the right to vote. After 42 more years of hard work, this amendment was eventually ratified in 1920 as the Nineteenth Amendment.
Inspired by the strength of the women who fought for equality, this handmade watercolor collection celebrates their legacy with a powerful blend of colors. Each color is produced in small, limited-edition batches. Designed for both beauty and function, these richly pigmented, non-toxic, and lightfast watercolors are secured with a magnet to keep them secure. With every brushstroke, this collection brings history to life—making your next painting truly stand out. This tiny pink tin has a sliding lid, making this little set super portable.
This mini set features:
- Hot Pink, an outrageously bright neon pink
- RM Whisper Pink, a pale pink
- Corinthian Purple, a warm reddish purple
- Gray Ocher, a deep cool gray
- RM Santa Fe Turquoise, a clear strong turquoise
- Desert Star, a blue-purple color shifting shimmer
