Perfect for watercolor painters, these sketchbooks are filled with 100% cotton rag paper with a cold-pressed texture. This paper is thick enough not to buckle and readily accepts multiple washes. These beautiful hardbound watercolor sketchbooks are handmade in small batches by Furry Tail Arts, a Ruby Mountain partner. 

Each sketchbook in this batch has beautiful marbled inner liner pages.

Beautiful

I love my new watercolor journals! The hand made paper inside is a delight to paint on. It might not handle paint like store bought 100% cotton paper, but that’s what I love about it! I bought 2 of these and I’m saving one for my vacation. There’s something special about painting on handmade paper with handmade paints. Supporting small businesses is so important and I try to buy my paint supplies from as many as possible.

The coloured covers are so beautiful and vibrant, and soft! The paper again has the same really nice feel to it as the individual sheets, and is really pleasant to paint on. It did have some pilling where I did multiple washes but it didn't really damage the paper or painting so I'm not too bothered by it. Great little sketchbook!

I haven't had time to try the paper in the new sketchbook as it just came, but I LOVE the quality and colour. Everything was packed with such care, I loved the special added touches and surprises.
