This classic blue leans towards the purple side of the spectrum and is a single pigment, deep blue. It mixes easily to create numerous other hues in the artists' palette. It is the synthetic form of Lapis Lazuli, which for many years was a very rare and expensive pigment. Now this synthetic bright blue is an affordable, non-toxic staple in every artist's palette.
