I have an ever-growing shelf of art books my studio. I've always loved books and especially books about watercolor and nature. I'm always on the look out for interesting art books and when I saw Rosalie Haizett's new book on her social media feed, I knew I had to check it out. Although I usually paint landscapes, I love how Rosalie's book encourages you to look closer and paint in layers. I'm draw to Rosalie's unique illustration style, and her simple instructions help break up the Each creature or plant had clear, step-by-step directions for how to draw and paint each one. It helped me understand better how to paint in layers and notice details. Rosalie was so very generous and sent me a copy of her book to giveaway to you.
